Reproductive Health Library

The WHO Reproductive Health Library is published online and updated weekly. The Regional Editor in Africa is Professor Justus Hofmeyr and ECRU, a WHO collaborating Centre. ECRU prepares and submits short 200 word summaries of selected reviews. ECRU checks content listed under "Pregnancy & Childbirth" against current CDSR content and identifies any updated reviews.

Scope of work:

  1.  To identify Cochrane reviews suitable for inclusion in the RHL and appropriate for health workers in the AFRO region
  2. To prepare 150-200 word summaries of selected reviews for inclusion in the RHL
  3. To identify Cochrane reviews included in the RHL which have been updated, and if necessary revise the RHL summaries
  4. To identify topics requiring video teaching material and propose new teaching videos

Work completed:

  1. Prepared spreadsheet of all Cochrane reviews and protocols from ARCHIE from Pregnancy and childbirth Group and other relevant groups
  2. Matched current RHL contents to the review or reviews to which they relate
  3. Prioritised Cochrane reviews for possible inclusion in RHL

Initial list for new RHL commentaries:
